There is a large dog park in the center of the apartments which I only utilized briefly, but it is well maintained. Upgrades to the units would for sure take this place to the next level, but until that can be done I would say this is a great starter apartment. Choose from a variety of spacious one or two-bedroom apartments to find the perfect home to fit your lifestyle. The large sliding glass door flows gently onto your own private patio or balcony where you can enjoy fresh air and gorgeous views of the surrounding scenery.
About two minute away on East Platte Avenue you can reach a Wal-Mart Supercenter carrying both food and good goods you will need while living here. The area also features Target, Home Depot, a liquor store and the Citadel mall. If you are looking for a place to eat, check out CiCi’s Pizza, Olive Garden or perhaps the Black Bear Diner which is said to whip up a mean chicken fried steak. For the price this is definitely an upscale gated community. Neighbors are all so friendly and everyone is respectful. The inside of the apartments are spacious and offer a cozy little patio for each unit.

People have stolen my plants from my porch area and some man tried to kick our door down. There was also a gas leak from our heater and when the gas company refused to repair it and instead suggested a complete new one the owners refused to pay that amount. Every place will have its ups and downs but they will try to help as much as they can.
The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, shops, and parks including the Valley Hi Golf Course. Park Hill is also just 10 miles away from one of Colorado Springs’ most popular attractions, the Garden of the Gods, a picturesque natural area. Attracting even more renters, Park Hill is also convenient to Peterson Air Force Base, the Air Force Academy, and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. When we moved in this place was great aside from a lived in smell and a loud creaking sound in the shower. This place has great potential and I do love my home, but some upgrades are definitely needed for the current going rate. The overall size of each unit is very spacious, but small enough to feel cozy with the right furniture. Large fireplaces, laundry in unit, and the two bedroom, two bathroom units have a large guest bath.

Get your java fix at Kangaroo Coffee on West Fillmore, raved as having some of the best coffee around. I did a maintenance request to repair the bottom steps, but nothing was done to my request. • Both the bathtubs in my 2 bathroom apartment were so damaged, cracked, old and worn they sounded like you were going to fall the floor and into the apartment below. Its only a gated community if the gates close and lock. The gate in the back has never shut in the past year that I was there. Our responsive onsite management and enviable amenities make our community one of the most popular in the area. • My daughter has huge pet allergies so I asked if this unit we were going into had pets from the past tenants, they said no….but of course, my apartment did. There was dog kibble under the washer and a rawhide bone behind the dryer. There was cat pee stained on the balcony screen. Luckily my daughter didn’t have an allergic reaction. But someone in management should have known about animals in this unit.
